Potential NYC buyers are welcome to come test out the unit in Brooklyn. Only selling as I've moved to a fully ITB setup and no longer have the need for this hardware. This item is for people who either 1) don't care about the rough edges + open case or 2) intend to finish the mod more artfully. I'm including all of this info so that buyers understand what they're getting. In my case, the module was always positioned so that this open area was against a desk or stand, and as you can see in pics 1+2, the rough edges are hidden in this position. It would be very easy to cap it off with whatever material you like. So as you can see in the picture, the bottom of this "module" looks ugly. That is it! I did not add a piece of wood to cap the bottom of the case or anything like that. The Wavestate itself functions perfectly (it easily takes MIDI input from your keyboard, sequencer, computer, etc.) and would be in excellent condition except for the mod.įor the mod, I first disassembled the synth, unplugged+unscrewed the keybed and removed it, and then sawed off the lower portion of the case that had previously housed the keyboard. Mostly using the Wavestation for orchestral/piano sounds and some leads, the Minibrute for bass, and the Elektron 'm not sure yet. Currently have an original Wavestation, a Minibrute, and an Elektron Analog Keys. "For sale is a Korg Wavestate that I have modded into a module version by removing the keyboard. Is the Korg Wavestate what I need Sample-based alternatives Hardware only.
